1. Choose one fiction writer from this week and discuss his or her artistic/narrative style, in the context of what you have studied thus far about the Harlem Renaissance.  Be sure to give textual evidence to support your claim.

2. How are the subjects of race and gender reflected in Larsen’s and Hurston’s works?
