Write your reaction to and reflection of the NAEYC Code of Ethical Conduct and Statement of Commitment.
1. Read the NAEYC Code of Ethical Conduct.
2. Write a 3-page paper that addresses the 4 sets of commitments included in the Code (children, families, colleagues, and communities), in your own words of course.
a. Begin with an introduction to the Code.
b. Of the 4 sets, identify two where you need to gain greater understanding.
c. Of the two where you need to learn more, discuss the group where you will need to make the greatest effort to be stronger as a teacher.
d. Wrap up with a concluding paragraph.
e. Sign and attach the Statement of Commitment to your paper.
3. This assignment should be a minimum of 3 pages, written in APA style (Microsoft Word; Times New Roman font; 12 pt. font size; margins 1” on all sides; double-spaced).
4. Be sure to have a clear introduction and conclusion to your paper.
5. Submit in Blackboard.
6. Review the rubric that is used for grading this assignment as you are writing.
